Entries are now open for the Hydrogen UK Awards 2027 

Hydrogen UK is excited to announce that entries are now open for the 2027 Hydrogen UK Awards. Now in its fourth year, the Awards Ceremony will once again be a highlight of the Hydrogen UK Annual Conference & Awards, the UK’s largest dedicated hydrogen event taking place on 16-17 March 2027 in Birmingham, with the Awards Dinner taking place on the evening of Tuesday 16 March 2027.

At a pivotal moment for the industry, these awards will celebrate excellence and innovation across hydrogen and its derivatives, recognising the outstanding achievements and contributions of the individuals, organisations, and projects driving the sector forward.   

The award categories are as follows: 

  1. Person of the Year – celebrating an individual who has made significant contributions to the hydrogen and its derivatives sector.   
  1. Future Leader – recognising young professionals and emerging leaders making significant contributions to the hydrogen and its derivatives sector.   
  1. Community Engagement – honouring projects and initiatives that engage and benefit local communities through hydrogen and its derivatives. 
  1. Finance and Investment – celebrating excellence in financial strategies and investments that support the growth of the hydrogen industry and its derivatives. 
  1. Thought Leadership – recognising individuals or organisations that have provided exceptional thought leadership in the hydrogen and its derivatives sector. 
  1. Innovation Project – celebrating ground-breaking projects that showcase innovation across the hydrogen and its derivatives sector. 
  1. Transport – recognising advancements in the application of hydrogen and its derivatives across the transport sector, including aviation, maritime, and road transport. 
  1. Infrastructure Project – recognising excellence in the development and deployment of infrastructure supporting hydrogen and its derivatives. 
  1. Industrial Application – celebrating innovative uses of hydrogen and its derivatives in industrial applications. 

Nominations are free to enter and are open to all stakeholders across the hydrogen and hydrogen derivatives sector, including companies, research institutions, and individuals. Don’t miss the opportunity to shine a spotlight on the achievements of your organisation, colleagues, or yourself. Entries must be submitted by Friday 6 November 2026.
