This Privacy Notice explains how Hydrogen UK uses, shares and protects your personal data. Talan UK and Ireland Limited (Talan) manage the Hydrogen UK (www.Hydrogen-uk.org) and the Hydrogen UK Project Space (www.projectmap.hydrogen-uk.org) websites and provides Secretariat functions. These are provided alongside and on behalf of Hydrogen UK.
We ask that you read this Privacy Notice (“the Notice”). Here, we explain how we will use your personal data in line with the Data Protection Act 2018, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”) and relevant data protection legislation.
For the purposes of data protection legislation, Hydrogen UK is the data controller for the personal data described in this Privacy Notice. This means Hydrogen UK determines the purposes and means of processing your personal data and is responsible for ensuring that it is processed in accordance with applicable data protection law.
Hydrogen UK is supported in the delivery of its services by delivery partners, including Talan UK and Ireland Limited, previously Gemserv Limited and Madano Partnership Ltd. These organisations provide administrative, communications, website and event support services to Hydrogen UK and process personal data on behalf of Hydrogen UK, in accordance with agreed arrangements. They do not independently determine the purposes or means of processing personal data for the activities described in this Privacy Notice. This Privacy Notice does not include personal data about children. It also does not apply to information used for recruitment or employment purposes.
